CurrencyLook ("we", "us", "the Service") is operated by Zabra Enterprises LLC, Texas, United States. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the Service is
CurrencyLook provides exchange rate information, conversion tools and general educational guides. We are an information provider. We are not a bank, money transmitter, broker, payment processor or financial adviser. We do not exchange currency, execute transactions, hold client funds, or transfer money on anyone's behalf.
3. Accuracy of information
Exchange rates shown are mid-market reference rates obtained from third-party data providers, currently open.er-api.com for fiat currencies and CoinGecko for cryptocurrency prices. Fiat rates are updated on a daily basis and may not reflect the current market at the time you view them.
The rates displayed are indicative only. They are not an offer, quotation or guarantee, and the rate any bank, card issuer, bureau or transfer service will apply to your transaction will differ. We make no warranty that the information on this site is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted, and we are not responsible for errors or omissions in third-party data. Always verify rates directly with your provider before transacting.
4. Not financial advice
Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation that any product, service or course of action is suitable for you. Content is general in nature and does not take account of your circumstances. Currency exchange, foreign transfers and cryptocurrency involve risk, including the risk of financial loss. Obtain independent professional advice before making decisions, particularly for significant amounts.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or place unreasonable load on the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
- Reproduce or republish substantial portions of our content without permission.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable sanctions or financial regulations.
- Interfere with the operation of the site or its security features.
6. Third-party links and services

Where a paid subscription is offered, the following applies. Pricing and features are as stated at the point of purchase. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the method described at purchase or by contacting us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where a free trial is offered, its length and terms are stated at sign-up. Statutory cancellation and refund rights under your local consumer law are unaffected by anything in these terms.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Features that depend on third-party data may be unavailable if those providers are.
9. Locally stored data
Conversion history, price alerts and favourite currencies are stored in your browser, not on our servers. We cannot recover this data if you clear your browser storage, change device or use private browsing. It is your responsibility to retain records you need.
10. Intellectual property
The design, text and original content of this site are owned by Zabra Enterprises LLC and protected by copyright. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with attribution. Exchange rate data remains subject to the terms of its respective providers.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including losses arising from reliance on rate information, decisions to transact or not transact, or the acts of third parties linked from this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply where relevant.
